Sales conditions
Scope
The present conditions of sale apply to the distance-selling operation of Bonsai Europe Publications VOF (us) and cover all sales to its customers (you) through the www.bonsaifocus.com website as well as orders posted to our administration. We reserve the right to amend the present conditions of sale at any time.
Prices
Product prices are given in Euros (EEC), Pounds Sterling (United Kingdom) and US-Dollars (Rest of World) and are exclusive of postage and packaging costs. For all consignments to be shipped outside the EEC, invoices are automatically calculated exclusive of taxes. Any customs duties, other local taxes, import duties or state taxes that may apply are your sole responsibility and are not payable by us.
Orders are payable in the currencies of your region only, as indicated on the website: Europe – Euros / United Kingdom - Pounds Sterling / Rest of the world - US dollars.
Bonsai Europe Publications reserves the right to change its prices at any time, although products will be invoiced at the price in effect when the order was placed, subject to availability. Information relating to prices and product availability is liable to change and is given by way of guidance only.
Orders
To place an order and to enter into a legally binding contract with us, you must be over 18 years old.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order if we find that you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
We will accept your order subject to the present conditions of sale.

Subscription renewal
You will receive a renewal invitation automatically each year that will allow you to renew your subscription for the next 6/3 issues. Please be aware that Bonsai Focus subscriptions do not run by the calendar year. If you do NOT renew in time you could miss one or more issues.
Subscription cancellation
If you don’t wish to renew your subscription, send an e-mail to our administration.
Your name and address will be removed from our files, and you will no longer receive letters or reminders. Subscription cancellation must be received in our office 8 weeks prior to the publication of the final issue of the running subscription term.
Confirmation
Clicking the 'Confirm' button at the end of the ordering process acknowledges that you agree to the order as well as to the present general terms and conditions, in their entirety and without exception.
Data recorded by Bonsai Europe Publications constitutes proof of all transactions between Bonsai Europe Publications and its customers.
Data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions.
Availability
Product and prices are valid as advertised on bonsaifocus.com subject to stock availability. Information on product availability is provided when you place an order online. These details are given for information purposes only and are not binding.
Should a product be unavailable after you have placed your order, we will let you know as soon as possible by e-mail or by post. In this instance you can ask for your order to be cancelled or exchanged by e-mailing us. If only part of the order is available, partial delivery will be executed. Only goods that are delivered will be charged for.
Delivery
Products are delivered to the delivery address given when the order was placed. Delivery times for order processing, packaging and transportation, see information. Orders will be processed only when your payment has cleared. Delivery times are calculated from the date your payment clears and may therefore differ from times indicated when you placed your order.
Postage and Packing
It is a good idea to combine several items in one order rather than order items individually. We are unable to combine orders placed separately and you will thus be liable to pay carriage costs for each order.
Payment
You have a choice of payment methods. You can pay by credit card: Visa, MasterCard; Paypal, by direct debit; by cheque or by banker’s draft, depending on your region. The payment methods are mentioned on the website as well as on the invoices.
On your bank statement, payment will be debited to Bonsai Europe VOF. All transactions are completed in a secure environment (Ogone) that is compatible with SSL standards.
Direct debit
The direct debit option is only available for The Netherlands and Germany. By choosing this options you allow Bonsai Europe Publications to debit your bank account for total amount of your orders. If your order contains a subscription your account will be debited each year automatically. Cancellation of your subscription also stops the direct debiting of your account.
Banker’s draft
Payment direct into one of our bank accounts should be made without charges to Bonsai Europe Publications (the beneficiary), otherwise we'll have to decrease the number of issues in your subscription accordingly, or hold the shipping until payment is complete.
Cheque
In many countries worldwide cheque payments are becoming less common and internet banking is taking over. For processing your cheques, banks are charging us costs that vary greatly country by country, sometimes even bank by bank. We are therefore forced to charge these costs on to our customers.
Reminder
In the case that an invoice is not paid within the terms of payment, we will send a reminder. If it crosses your payment in the mail, ignore it; international mail is not always prompt.
Address change
In case of a change of address go to My Account as soon as you know what your new address will be. We need it at least 4 weeks before the next issue of Bonsai Focus is published to make the changes in time.
Condition of ownership
All goods remain the property of Bonsai Europe Publications until receipt of payment in full, including added interest if appropriate. This provision does not affect transfer to the customer of all risks of loss or damage from the moment the goods leave our premises.
Exchange and refunds
Goods supplied by Bonsai Europe Publications are new and guaranteed. You have 7 working days from the date of receipt to return the product. If it does not meet your expectations, you will be liable for the cost of return postage. Cancellations can be made on the date of purchase and your credit card can be refunded otherwise a refund will be made by cheque or banker’s draft upon receipt of the returned goods.
